LEADERSHIP CAMP CALGARY
REGISTRATION FORM

CAMP DESCRIPTION
The goal of the camp is to teach campers how to be virtuous men through generosity, hard-work, service, order and friendship. Over the course of the camp, each boy attends activities with other campers, competes in games, and wins points toward the glorious Bowmont Cup. Every day, campers attend a talk on a specific virtue, engage in a hands-on project, and play sports and an outdoor activity. There will be a show at the end for families to attend where campers receive awards and present their team chant and skits. Spiritual activities, such as time for prayer, Rosary and confession, will be offered. Throughout the camp, each team's counselors help the boys apply principles of virtue and lessons from the virtue talks to concrete situations during the camp.
THE activities
Morning

Campers arrive at 9:00 a.m., check-in, and leave their belongings in their assigned areasa. They receive a virtue talk from the camp directors. Then their junior counselor briefs them about the day, gives them their daily virtue focus, and inspects their belongings to help them in the virtue of order. They then proceed with a building project that calls on their creativity, manual skills and team skills. After a short break, they engage in team sports, then work on their team chant.
Afternoon

After lunch, campers are given time for guided prayer and confession. An outdoor activity at the park ensues, followed by time to work on skits. Before the end of the day, campers clean up their assigned areas and have a group session with their junior counselor, who reviews their virtue focus and gives feedback to the group on how this virtue focus has been lived.
Excursion

A longer excursion is planned on the second day, possibly rafting down the Bow River. There will be adequate adult supervision. If there are fathers who would like to help supervise or with transportation, please contact us.
Family Reception
Families are invited to join us from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 2 to celebrate with team chants, performances and awards.
